One of the great things about cricket is the friendships it creates and this week North Perrott Cricket Club had some very special visitors.
The Perrott family from the USA discovered our small village cricket club online and decided to pay us a visit while touring England. To everyone's surprise, they arrived as ready made supporters - wearing North Perrott Cricket Club sweatshirts!!
As complete newcomers to cricket, they spent time with players and members learning about the game, enjoying the atmosphere, and experiencing village cricket at its finest. It was a pleasure to introduce them to the sport and to share a little of what makes our club so special.

Following their visit, Michael Perrott kindly wrote to thank the club for its hospitality, describing England as "such a lovely country and lovely people" and sharing how much they had enjoyed their first experience of cricket.

We were delighted to welcome Julie, Michael, Donna and Dan to North Perrott and hope they enjoy the rest of their travels around England.
You'll always be welcome at Perrott, and if your travels ever bring you back to Somerset, there will always be a place for you at our club!!
