Castle Cary CC 1st XI 85/ao (29.1) lost to North Perrott CC 1st XI 89/6 (24.5)
Perrott won by 4 wickets.

Perrott won the toss and in very blustery conditions elected to field.
The opening bowlers Sam R (2-4 from 6 overs - including 3 maidens!! @tmcandc) and Leo J kept the runs to a minimum. Dan B (4-18 @beemstercheese) and Archie F (4-14 @anthonyhoneyballracing) then mopped up 8 wickets in a fantastic 12 over spell - pinning Castle Cary on a very chaseable 85. Special mention to the team fielding performance with everyone concentrated and committed. Andrew K (@themorningdata), James S and Dan W (@hamstone_vets) both taking 2 catches each.
Perrott's innings started well with a quarter of the total needed chased down in the first 5 overs. Wickets began to fall though and it took a steady 42 run partnership from Sam R (21) and Leo J (21) to bring the victory home for Perrott in the 25th over.
