North Perrott 2nd XI 152/7 (40) lost to South Petherton 1st XI 266/4 (40)

Starting early to accommodate the England match, Perrott won the toss and asked South Petherton to bat first. Wickets proved hard to come by as South Petherton amassed 266-4. Pick of the Perrott bowlers was Mark D with 3-52. After losing early wickets, victory was beyond Perrott. So, it was another case of picking up as many batting points as possible. The middle order rallied thanks to Will F (34), Ollie F (29), Jack S (29 @liftcrewkerne ) and Nathan T (20* @landpoweruk), meaning Perrott finished beaten but not broken
