North Perrott 96/ao (13.3) bt Chard 86/9 (18.5) by 9 runs.

An incredible game that had a bit of everything!!
Perrott won the toss and opted to bat. The game at the 10 over point had Perrott sitting on 84-3 thanks to Jodie R (24) and Rose B (21) after drinks it is fair to say Perrott had an epic batting collapse. The Chard bowlers were very strong and accurate and Perrott were left 96/ao after 13.3 overs.
Perrott had to bowl and field very well. After 10 overs Chard were sitting on 55-4 and looked to be heading for victory. The last over before drinks was a wicket maiden for Jodie R and that seemed to change the feel of the game. Perrott then began to apply pressure with some top notch fielding. Special mention to Eliza N for a fantastic direct hit run-out in the 14th over and to Rose B for superb wicketkeeping. The game changing moment game in the 19th over with Chard needing 11 from 2 and Sam U plucking the ball out of the air for an incredible catch! One of Chard's players had to RINO and so the game was wrapped up in the 19th over. Bowling figures:

So much to take away from this match - the team never gave up and stayed extremely calm under pressure thanks to Jess R's reassured leadership.
