The standout moment of the day came in the 1st XI fixture against Wellington CC, where debutant overseas N. Malinga announced himself in spectacular fashion. His blistering 78 from just 36 balls brought real energy to the innings and showcased the exciting talent he brings to the club. Although North Perrott ultimately fell short against a strong Wellington side, Malinga’s fearless ball striking was a huge highlight and gave the club plenty to be excited about for the season ahead.

The 2nd XI also showed encouraging signs in a narrow defeat to Bear Flat CC. Several players made valuable contributions with the bat, continuing the steady progress being made within the squad.
