Perrott won the toss and put Taunton into bat. The precise opening bowling spells from Josh MJ (3-31) and Sam set the tone for the match. High intensity fielding meant the bowlers were backed up with no runs given away in the field. Wickets continued to fall regularly with Dan W (3-10) Ronnie F (2-30) and Jamie O (2-34) taking the rest.
The run chase was steady and never looked in doubt with a great knock from Donald C (44) to seal a great result for Perrott!!

All 3 aspects of the game were outstanding with a great all round team performance.

Excellent bowling performances lead by Dan B (3-20) Nathan T (3-22) and Kevin S (2-17) to restrict TSA to 95.

A confident batting display by Ben L (a fantastic 57no) and Ollie F (26) rescued the team from 16-3, showing experience beyond their years.

Cranmore 2nd XI bt Perrott 3rd XI

Another comprehensive loss for a very young and inexperienced side - however a massive achievement for club objectives this season. Lots of small wins within the game - taking Cranmore into the 17 over is a great improvement, great bowling from Oli A and team spirit/determination. A special mention for Rick H too - for leading the team yesterday and the first member of our club to Captain all 3 senior sides in League matches (we believe?)
