Drawn game - after a promising start - rain stopped play!!
North Perrott 83-2(12.2) v Dorchester 182-7(40)

Dorchester Cricket Club won the toss and decided to bat. Tight bowling and fielding made runs hard to come by and Perrott took wickets at regular intervals. Dorch player Rajender top scored on 56. Wickets were taken by:
S.Rowswell 2-5
D.White - 2-39
J.Ogborne - 1-42
T.Silk - 1-17
J.Henderson (run out)

When it was time to bat Perrott wasted no time putting on the runs but unfortunately the time ran out as the rain came down!!
Top scorers
G.Retter 41 no
A.Payne 31

A really positive all round team performance - and fantastic to see at least some cricket after a really long Winter!!

Thanks to Cecilia for scoring, Phil for umpiring and Tom and his crew for working so hard on the ground getting it ready for the match today. Thanks also to Dorchester for trying to get the game played.
